#5 Flickr is a success at last!

This is our Jack Russell dog named Tashi.
She is 21 months old and lots of fun.
Tashi is always energetic and happy to see you!
I have taken a little bit of time mastering Flickr
but can see the more you practice it all starts
to come together

# 6 More Flickr fun - # 7 Technology

There are so many great applications in Flickr - I will have to go back later and really explore them more! I especially liked the idea of http://www.mappr.com/ - where you take Flickr images and paste them on a map - great idea for the traveller! The Flickr color pickr was fun to play around with all the colours and themes also. The Mashup Award Winners had amusing sites such as Plotshot - that depicts a randomly created plotline!

My technology related thoughts really focus on how far techonology has come in the late 20th century and early 21st century. My teenage children use computers and related technology as naturally as they eat and sleep. Communication with friends is often over MSN and homework is reliant on having a home computer. It makes me think of how foreign a concept this was to me as a teenage in the 1970s but how well we have all embraced all of the changes technology has brought about. Learning 2.0 is gently pushing me - an adult to explore further and be amazed!

# 3 & # 4 - Setting up my blog and registering it.

At last! I have taken off on my journey and created my very first blog. It was great to finally get there as earlier this year I had to opportunity to comment on my High School Reunion blog
and it always seemed too hard. Looking at other co-workers blogs has been inspirational
and I should learn a lot more about blogging before I am finished.
